Ooh! Is this coursework for your Soap Powder Studies A-level?

Maybe two or three times for the above. But it depends. I mean, if it's
my turn to muck out the pigs, then I'll usually wash whatever I'm wearing
to do that job immediately after doing it.

Once for those items. Oh yes. Even when I get allocated a "clean" job
that day.

Couple of times.

Once. Except for my bras. I can usually wear them a few times before
I feel the need to wash them.

night attire (pyjamas etc)
I don't wear such unnecessary things.

Agreed, my jeans get washed when they get things spilt on them.

Jeans are all hard when they have just been washed, they are at their most
comfortale after being worn for a week.

Also they shrink a bit in the wash, and my jeans are too small for me
anyway. After a bit of wearing, they have stretched to a slightly more
comfortable size (so I can resume normal breathing patterns).

I sometimes wear a shirt twice :-/

And since I only wear t-shirts when hanging around the house not doing
anything, they get worn a few more times.

I have disposable bras, don't need to wash them.
Does anyone else have to use (at university) washing machines that
will only accept 20p pieces?

Towards the end of the year a 20p at Homerton was worth about 50p.

Was the same in my halls too! 20p was also required for the pool tables
so they were priceless in the end. I had a room next to the laundrette
so it was normally me people asked for change.

The problem with jeans is that when you wear them into smoky places
clubs/pubs they seem to soak up the aroma of smoke and beer. Makes it
a bit difficult not to wash them much.

Does Fabreeze actually work, or does it just mask the odour? Seems a bit
disgusting to me to fabreeze a pair of jeans to get tid of the smoke smell -
the disgusting stuff is still there.

I find Febreeze a bit crap for masking fag odour. What tends to work a bit
better, if you can't be bothered to wash them, is just to air them for a day or
two.

i have a feeling that a lot of those products are based on cyclo-dextrines
- sugary like molecules that bind to little smelly molecules making them
less volatile abd less smeely by being bigger - only i think they break
down over time and can go sticky...

jeans
My best jeans the ones with labels etc I take great care of them

Sometimes it can get really hot and you sweat quite abit in between the legs
and stuff.... so then they definately need to be washed

If I dont sweat as much between the legs etc, then I can wear them until I
feel they are 'clean' which is somewhere between 4 or 6 times and varies
because I have several pairs of Jeans....well the old ones do not fit
anymore because my wasit increased to a 30" because I have grown....
Post by Aidan Hamilton
trousers
Rarely wear trousers, but with a suit and stuff, it they get washed when
they look dirty and unclean.
Post by Aidan Hamilton
t shirts
Always wear t shirts, not really a wearer of shirts.... they get washed as
soon as I changed....
Post by Aidan Hamilton
day shirt
Washed if not clean...
Post by Aidan Hamilton
'going out' shirt
Always one of the more expensive shirts, so great care is taken and washe
din unclean
Post by Aidan Hamilton
socks
new pair everyday...
Post by Aidan Hamilton
underwear (boxers, bra etc)
boxers washed, but sometimes things get sticky when unexpected things happen
why do we get wet dreams I wonder.....
Post by Aidan Hamilton
night attire (pyjamas etc)
I sleep totally naked when its hot
In winter, I wear somethign more warm.
