Is there anyone going up to Cam this October?

If so, I recommend that you find time in freshers' week to visit the
Cambridge Union Society's open-to-all-students events, including the
freshers' debate on Thursday.

Lots of people have strong (but differing) opinions on the society, so
why not head down there and see for yourself whether you'd like it?

Two AUA alumni on committee too - is there any better sign of quality?
:-)

Ooh, if we're plugging our Cambridge societies then everyone should come
go-karting with CUAC (Cambridge University Automobile Club) - it's so much
fun and beginnners are more than welcome. Email me for more details or look
out for our stand at the freshers' fair.

PS. Okay, I seem to have avoided the bait about having a debate on the
nature of the Union...

Ooh. OK.
Everybody should come diving with CUUEG (Cambridge University Underwater
Expolration Group) - it's fantastic.
You can email me for more details or come to OUR stand at the freshers'
fair.

Excellent - I assume you know Stephen Parkinson who was president a few
terms back, now doing well for himself at the conservative research unit :)
